Similarly to the Democratic Lecture, I want to engage the students before the event creating some form of excitement about the workshop. The student involvement adds incentive and engages the students with the lecture before attending raising awareness of the event as well as excitement and understanding of the thought behind the lecture.
Similarly to my plan for the project a publication was created to explain any topics that were not mentioned in the lecture. Considering the educational value of the publication is another area to explore, rather than a documentation of the event the book can communicate more information about typography to the students!
