The cover is printed in two spot colours then laminated, this process is pushed further by cropping it to a perfect bind styled cover leaving the grey board exposed and the images bleeding off the page. Although this approach isn't particularly practical as the overhang on the edges protects the inner pages but there is no disputing that it is a beautiful book.
