Studio Myerscough — Variety of works
—
Studio Myerscough's practice is focused towards creating huge scale typography and signage for exhibitions. I first saw their work over summer at the LCC end of year show, utilising a high impact, hi-lighter colour pallet contrasted against the wood textured boards. A beautiful execution of work across all scales. The work they create has a big impact on the experience of a space, the tone that is set and the language used is appropriate to each event.

This is definitely one of the studios that I wish to include in my publication when discussing the exhibition section. The role of the graphic designer seems to be far more open than it used to be which really interests me! I want to keep studying this sort of work and see what other studios I come across and how to represent their work.
The signage is also a large piece of inspiration towards the end of year shows both for woodwork and the graphic design yearbook. The large scale/ super interesting type really grabs my attention and thinking about how it could influence my own approach to designing spaces really interests me.
