Although Yafet worked on a website, I wanted to create a website alternative, something that we weren't able to code but to show what sort of visual quality that would be achieved if working with coders. I am particularly interested in the design of websites but the coding doesn't interest me so much.
These were the initial designs that Yafet created and posted online...
I decided that we needed to use the same colour scheme as the posters to reinforce the identity of the exhibition.
The pages showcasing students work are kept in full colour to highlight the quality of the woods and products that the students create.
These are the amended designs that I will mock up for the boards. We are purchasing a URL when the students get their work photographed and put together. We still need to write some copy about the exhibition, but may contact some of the creative advertising students to get involved in the process.
