Some really interesting use of vibrant 3D shapes, a wonderful bit of inspiration for the shape creating process of making the yearbook info graphics / shapes. The rest of the work from the studio is consistently impressive and has a recent feature on Its Nice That. The forms were reconfigured to create a varied body of images for press and print and formed the basis for the short video embedded in the post. Somehow creating the shapes in 3D might be an appropriate solution to revert them back into 2D for printed deliverables. This process would also transfer well when thinking about the D&AD environment and how to engage the shapes on a broader scale.

Although the shapes seem abstract at first glance the relation to the furniture is obvious when taking a closer look at the materials and angles of each. How to communicate the principles that students acquire on the course is a slightly more abstract process but something with the possibility for really beautiful and unique results.
