I am particularly keen on getting the spacing perfect otherwise the shapes loose their prominence. This idea has also sparked other options for creating an overall shape for the year-group. When all the shapes are overlaid there is one small cross left in the middle, giving the course a shape that has a slight input from everyone. We just need to collect a few final questionnaires and we can finalise the shapes and start applying within the grids.

Signage Ideas?
After looking at some signage I have started to think about how the shapes could be transferred into 3D environments, both signposting students work and acting as a guide for mapping the event & experience. The idea is simple utilising paper as a colourful and simple medium to work with. Printed text could be added in the sides of each piece of paper labelling who the shapes represent and where their work is. This is only a really fast mock up, but when appropriate stocks are used I think it has the possibility for some interesting results. Particularly now we have made more decisions about colour choices we can brand the event alongside the yearbook.
