Yearbook Ideas

I have been thinking about other ways of deciphering the shapes for the yearbook. This method was done simply mapping of the different student focuses within graphic design. The colours and shapes are just hypothetical representations for the moment but when we gather more information from people we can start to generate more ideas.

The shape chooses the main focus in the work deciphering what directions the lines take depending on how influential certain approaches are in the individuals practice. These are just visual experiments for the moment, I will start creating more considered designs when I work on the layouts.

Another idea I was considering was mapping where previous students have ended up since starting the course. Because there are a few students who have moved abroad to different locations in Europe it has the potential for some really interesting visuals.
