Lots of Writing...

These are just a few notes I made before rethinking my rationale, I felt I just went straight into the document before planning what I wanted to write. Something I learnt in the last module

Briefs_

1. Yearbook - Publication (Collaborative)
Collaborative brief to create a publication that showcases and examples the 3rd year graphic design students work.

2. Glyphtionary - publication
A book exploring the different glyphs and proper usage of each one, formatted around the style of a dictionary.

Audience
Type & Design students

3. Type Workshop ~ Publication / education
- Working on a type class with old tutor to introduce future design and photography students to collaboration within design and photography.
- Working particularly with type and utilising the grids created from last year.
- Could also collect letterforms and results from different practitioners.

Deliverables 
- Publication documenting the results collected 
- Award for favourite piece of type during the workshop
- Promotion for the event
- Contacting printers to remake sketchbooks for alternative distribution

Audience
- Those with an interest in typography
- Younger Designers choosing to study


4. Contradictions ~ Publication / Product / Identity
- Working with the idea of contradictions and trends in fashion, specific content will be delivered through research and investigation into the subject matter.
- Another possibility is a publication on the subject matter. Examples include ~ formal and casual, darkness and light, sporty and formal.
- Might be a nice concept to extend further and contact a fashion student about?

Re-branding for a Milan based design duo who create furniture, accessories including wallets and lighting for different environments.

- Catalogues of different products including samples of woods
- Packaging for different products
- Wrapping paper for brand
- Business cards, letter heads etc

4c. Tom Peppiatt ~ Live Brief (photographer)
Branding for a freelance photographer

- Promotional book / lookbook
