Rinse Identity

The Rinse identity is another that communicates to a similar audience. What I like about the rinse identity is that it has been continually developed into its current state. Always created by GiveUpArt and photographed by Shaun Bloodworth, the duo have created some vibrant combinations that communicate the cultural movement that Rinse as a night and brand were part of.

The artwork created over the last 17 years resulted in an exhibition showcasing how the brand has developed and the ongoing relationship between the night and the design duo. This shows the true possibilities that can come from working closely with clients and something that could possibly be achievable through a sustained relationship with the owners of Audio Doughnuts. The logo communicates the music at the nights, a simple yet sharp edged letter logo works well at all scales and works with the selected audience. The website is simple and understated, a further study of this can be seen in the Scribd document. The simplicity of the website makes it accessible and simple to use, again engaging rather than confusing the viewer. This simplicity is applied across the rest of the identity from flyers to vinyl sleeves... all deliverables that Dom & I will need to create for Audio Doughnuts.
